Slava Ukraini: Ukrainian Liberty Is As American As Apple Pie

There are many reasons to loathe Trump being the ceremonial figurehead of the United States of America, but his ongoing betrayal of Ukraine is high near the top of the list.

Cheers to every one of my readers who admire the courage and bravery of the Ukrainian people, and are pissed Trump is too stupid to realize Putin is fellating his ego like a puppeteer to trick him into fracturing the West, dismantle the American hegemony, and blow out the beacon of freedom that America still shines across the world.

Putin’s whispered sweet-nothings into Trump’s ears on his calls he won’t let any of his advisers listen in on are molding a second Trump Administration foreign policy that future historians will be unanimous in agreement was the worst and unnecessarily self-defeating in modern US history.

In contrast, President Zelensky offering his resignation in exchange for peace or NATO membership is such a masterclass in leadership for the world.

He’s calling Trump’s bluff accusation that he’s a dictator while being willing to sacrifice his political power to Make Ukraine Great Again in ways that Trump’s MAGA isn’t capable of appreciating. It’s such a shame Zelensky has to deal and negotiate with the 21st Century’s stupidest, most blatantly self-interested and corrupt leader, Donald Trump.

Ukrainians are fighting for their independence, liberty, and democracy, and Trump is betraying them. Who knows what he’s selling them out for, but whatever Putin is giving is stunningly less than the value of Ukrainians’ courage, yearning for freedom, and eagerness to be a US ally.

Trump and MAGA are unfortunately just not very educated about global politics and history. It’s easy when you live in America not to think much about the rest of the world, and I think their isolationism comes from that ignorance with Trump as their Dunning-Kruger mascot.

Sadly, though, they’re sabotaging America’s global power, and wasting the national security opportunity of our generation because of their cheering on Trump’s innate compulsion to be a dick to everyone except the dick totalitarian dictators he idolizes and wants to like him.

The unfortunate fact the fascist isolationists can’t hide forever is that European peace affects American peace. America learned that lesson many times over several generations last century leading to a hegemonic triumph over totalitarianism, and now MAGA morons are making us have to learn it again.

Trump and MAGA are wrong and pyrrhically unAmerican in their foreign policy. To tell a rhyme with history, Ukraine is this century’s Second Spanish Republic, and America flipping to team fascism is a disgrace unparalleled in modern presidential history that will certainly lead to greater European destruction and chaos with the West not nipping this proliferating Russian war mongering in the bud in Ukraine.

There is nothing more American a country can do than standing up to a psycho dictator bully, and risking death and suffering for freedom. The sacrifice Ukrainians have made is sacred, and Americans should not let Trump extinguish the eternal flame of freedom in our hearts.
